Bodoquero River

The Bodoquero river rises in the East Mountain range, a few kilometers from Florencia's Southeast. It is located at 440 meters above the sea level and the temperature in this zone is 28 ° c. Bodoquero river crosses along the rural and urban area of Morelia town and it is an important part of the history of this place, because Morelia was named before "Bodoquero" town, due to this small town was located in a village on the shores of the river. The Bodoquero river is one of the main attractions for people who live there and visitors. Traditionally -on weekends- people go there for cooking on fire and share food. There are different activities such as boating and fishing.
